Online property auctions

The new way to buy & sell property

Our Real Auction platform facilitates both the buying and selling of property. We offer both online and live auctions. Our users favour our online property auction service for many reasons:

  • Easy eBay style bidding.
  • No need to wait for a live, in-person auction.
  • Properties can be offered online at any time.
  • Great way to sell and buy fast.
  • Opportunity to shop around before auction day.
  • Opportunity for sellers to track interest and adapt pricing.

Property auctions online or otherwise, can be hugely beneficial to sellers, buyers and estate agents. Here, we look closer at why you should be considering selling or buying a property via an online auction, and the many advantages it can bring.

Efficiency, security and clarity:

Here at Real Auction, our online platform provides security and clarity to both buyer and seller which some traditional methods do not offer. We have a strict time frame for sale completion and secure transaction and security measures in place. Our online auctions provide the clarity that both parties need. As an estate agent, you can be sure to increase the chances of selling your client's home, and more importantly faster than traditional methods.

Seamless sale

Tensions and emotions can come into play when it comes to live auctions at in-person auction houses. However, when bidding from the comfort of your own home and with a steady strategy in mind the process becomes more seamless and hassle-free.

Eliminating gazundering & gazumping

Gazundering and gazumping are frequent practices that are not welcomed by either buyers or sellers. Gazundering is when a seller has accepted an offer from a buyer, begins to make plans to move and halts all viewings. However, near the time of contract exchange, the buyer will significantly reduce their offer.

On the other hand, Gazumping is when a seller accepts a buyer's offer, the buyer may then pay for valuations, searches, and instruct lenders, only for the buyer to then notify the seller that they are accepting a higher offer. Neither are desirable circumstances. The good thing is neither are possible with online auctions!
